Trisodium citrate, with the chemical formula Na₃C₆H₅O₇, is a chemical compound used as a food additive, either as a flavoring agent or a preservative.

This substance acts as a flavor enhancer in various types of carbonated soft drinks. Sodium citrate is also included in the ingredients of raw sausages. Trisodium citrate is found in gluten mixtures, ice cream, yogurt, jellies, powdered milk, processed cheese, carbonated beverages, wines, and other products.
